We spend a lot of time seeking out and selecting quality fabrics which have been discarded and are lying around our textile factories and those of our production partners because they haven’t been sold. More often than not, these fabrics are surplus stock which other brands ordered but never used. They often end up at the landfill and are an incredible waste of resources and energy, generating a negative effect on the environment. In 2020 we bought and upcycled 200 kg of fabrics which would otherwise have been thrown away or burnt. In 2021 this number rose to 640 kg. All SHER apparel is made in Italy 🇮🇹 and Portugal 🇵🇹 with partners who believe in transparency, fairness and sustainability. We try to keep distances down to an absolute minimum in everything we do. Our production partners are chosen for their high quality standards and their years of experience in the sector. All our fabrics and materials are made in Europe and 90% of them in Italy.
